Rice pudding and mango

Ingredients :

  • 50 g of round rice
  • 1 mango
  • 25 cl of whole milk
  • 20 cl of liquid cream
  • 120 g of Degla date sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • To taste: you can add cooked oats for an even more substantial breakfast!

Preparation :

  1. In a saucepan, heat the milk with the liquid cream and half the date sugar over medium heat. Rinse the rice quickly with cold water and drain.
  2. Add the rice to the milk-cream mixture.
  3. Split the vanilla pod in half, lengthwise, scrape the seeds out of the pan.
  4. Cook over low heat for 30 minutes. Then let cool.
  5. Cut the mango into small cubes.
  6. Divide the rice pudding into glasses or bowls.
  7. Place a few diced mangoes on top of each portion.
