Rice pudding and mango
Ingredients :
- 50 g of round rice
- 1 mango
- 25 cl of whole milk
- 20 cl of liquid cream
- 120 g of Degla date sugar
- 1 vanilla pod
- To taste: you can add cooked oats for an even more substantial breakfast!
Preparation :
- In a saucepan, heat the milk with the liquid cream and half the date sugar over medium heat. Rinse the rice quickly with cold water and drain.
- Add the rice to the milk-cream mixture.
- Split the vanilla pod in half, lengthwise, scrape the seeds out of the pan.
- Cook over low heat for 30 minutes. Then let cool.
- Cut the mango into small cubes.
- Divide the rice pudding into glasses or bowls.
- Place a few diced mangoes on top of each portion.
