As spring break approaches, Création Delicia offers you 5 beautiful recipes made with date sugar or even Chocodatte . Simple and easy little recipes to make as a family that will help you discover dates in a whole new light!

Ingredients :

  • ½ cup homemade granola
  • ¼ cup date sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of white yogurt
  • ½ cup of berries: blueberries, raspberries, strawberries…

Assembly :

Put the granola in a small bowl, then add the yogurt and berries of your choice.

Sprinkle with date sugar :).

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 3 tbsp date sugar
  • ½ cup cashew butter (or other nut of your choice)
  • 104 ml applesauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 teaspoon of cocoa
  • 2 tbsp. tbsp sunflower oil
  • A pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Pour all the ingredients into a food processor to form a ball.
  2. Spread the dough by hand to obtain a dough with a thickness of 3 inches.
  3. Cut out with a cookie cutter and sprinkle with date sugar.
  4. Refrigerate on a plate and let sit for 1 hour.

Ingredients :

  • 2 cups of oatmeal
  • ½ cup crushed walnuts
  • ½ cup date sugar
  • ½ cup coconut flakes
  • 1 cup dates cut into slices
  • Coconut oil

Preparation :

  1. Combine dry ingredients (except coconut flakes) in a large bowl.
  2. In another small bowl, combine the coconut oil and date sugar.
  3. Mix everything well and spread on a metal sheet and bake at 180C/350F for 25 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before sprinkling with coconut flakes.
  5. Once completely cooled, transfer to a glass jar.

Ingredients :

  • 1 ½ dried prunes
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of date sugar
  • ⅓ cup softened butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 cups of oatmeal
  • ¼ cup ground flax seeds
  • ½ tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tbsp baking soda

Preparation :

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C (350F).
  2. In a small saucepan, cook the prunes for 10 minutes over medium heat.
  3. Mix flour, oats, ground flax, baking powder and baking soda.
  4. Transfer the dry ingredients to the liquid ingredients and stir with a fork to moisten.
  5. Add the prune puree and mix well.
  6. Divide the mixture into 12 non-stick muffin molds
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, let cool and unmold.

Ingredients :

  • 2 cups of flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ cup date sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of milk
  • ¼ cup softened butter

Preparation :

  1. In a salad bowl mix the flour and baking powder.
  2. Add the other ingredients and whisk.
  3. In a non-stick pan, pour ¼ cup of the mixture and spread to form a 6-inch pancake.
  4. Cook them for approximately 2 minutes on each side.
  5. Cover the dates with sugar and enjoy them hot.
